Mondays, the Monday blues, a case of the Mondays. Monday usually gets a bad rap, whether it’s in a movie or a meme found on social media. Starting today, goodvibeseasyliving.org will be posting a blog every Monday morning to help you start the week on the right foot. These blogs are going to be quick and to the point, they may contain a song, meditation technique, a quote, a video, or whatever our writer for that Monday is feeling.
Today? We’re getting some inspiration from Brendan. When Brendan was a senior at Seton Hall Prep, he led a Kairos retreat with many of his classmates. Before Brendan’s speech, he played this song, Jason Mraz’s “Living In The Moment”.
Far too many of us spend our mornings or commutes worrying about things that are out of our control. “We’re so busy watching out for what’s just ahead of us that we don’t take time to enjoy where we are,” Bill Watterson. So on this Monday, at the very least take the extra three minutes and fifty-seven seconds to really listen to this song and think of the words. Try to be present in as many moments as you can be today and spread some Good Vibes to others. #Gvel
