Brendan was born and raised in Livingston. He had just completed his freshman year at University of Richmond where he was a member of the Lacrosse Club. Brendan was a talented bagpiper for the Essex County Shillelagh Pipes & Drums. He was a 2013 graduate of Seton Hall Prep where he was a member of the National Honor Society, Lacrosse Team, Ambassador’s Club, Knights of Setonia, President of the Gaelic Society, on the Student Council, Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and he was the recipient of the Monsignor Tuohy Award for having achieved a GPA of over 4.0 for all four years at Seton Hall. Brendan was also a Eucharistic Minister at Seton Hall Prep. Brendan enjoyed summers with family and friends in Lavallette where he was an avid surfer. Posthumously, Brendan has been honored as the 2015 Irishman of the Year by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, on that same night he was recognized at New York Young Leaders St. Patricks Celebration for his mantra of “Good Vibes & Easy Living”.

  1. As a neighbor watching Brendan grow from infant cheerful toddler preschooler and a wonderful loving child who grew to be an extended family grandson! We also have proud moments to remember this bright mannerly young man! Will not forget the first time seeing Brendan driving! Could he be old enough? My how time flies.
